Minneapolis has always been the hometown of musical super star Prince. Fans can follow the Prince Trail, starting with an evening at First Avenue, the night club made famous in the film, Purple Rain.  The Trail includes sites throughout the Minneapolis/Saint Paul/Bloomington area–ranging from his boyhood home to where he first recorded and performed music to Hard Rock Café at Mall of America in Bloomington, featuring costumes worn by Prince at special concerts.

Following his untimely death in 2016, Prince’s home and recording studio, Paisley Park, is now a museum, providing fans from around the world the very rare opportunity to tour the estate.  Visitors experience first-hand this unique creative sanctuary where Prince lived, created and performed for more than 30 years.

The MSPB Gateway offers live music every night of the week at venues ranging from rock ‘n roll bars to jazz clubs to the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra to the biggest names in music in our big arenas.
